Feral: - Ferals are animal based. If some one is feral they had blood problems, tissue malformations, bone cancer etc. Using animal DNA the body mutated it and became part animal. While they look completely human they have the senses and instincts of these creatures. ALL ferals are afraid of fire and can make their eyes glow a yellow or gold color, this can vary. Most ferals have the same fears of Fire, earthquakes and floods, as with most wild anamials.
Feline: Tiger, Panther, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah etc.: They have inhuman speed, jumping skills, eye sight for both night and day, hearing (while it is extremely sensitive some other types of feral have superior hearing), and heightened smell. Most ferals of this type of have extreme strength though the ursine is stronger in this area. What seperates them from the rest is their speed and agility The advantage of this is simple. You’re fast, and strong with senses that put a humans to shame. You are a very social person or that becomes close to the ones you love, and will do anything to protect them including sacrificing yourself. Once in a while you will find a solitary feral. Your friends are your pack. The disadvantages are that you have a wild side that can be hard for others to under stand. They often don’t like other ferals or strangers for that matter to be in their territory which you will protect fiercely. If you get into a middle of a fight with them they will get you by accident
Ursine: The Bear: has above human hearing, immense strength (strongest type of feral), speed and smell (believe it or not the bear can run up to 35 mph) The advantage would be above named senses like most ferals. The disadvantage would be that Ursine are solitarey people. Like the Bear they tend to stay alone, not wanting others around. They are also very peaceful and very voilant if provoked. There human side would crave to be near people, to make the bonds that every human needs, but there wilder and often stronger side would hold them back. Like all mammalian ferals they dont like people in their territory that they dont know.
Canine: The Dog, or Wolf ferals have keenest sense of smell then all the ferals, hearing is very acute but not as good as the feline. They are strong but their most valued ability is their sense of smell. They have good day time eye sight but excellent night vision. Speed is another quality they have like the feline. They are the most social of the ferals and the easiest to bond with as they like to be in packs of people, or others like themselves. The advantage would be the hearing, smell, and vision at night. The disadvantage would be that while they can be very friendly they can be dangerous. Like all ferals you provoke them and they will strike back. If you get into a middle of a fight with them they will get you by accident.
Porcine: Boar, or hog. While they are mostly unknown to us, we think they have an above human strength, hearing and usually poor eye sight. They can charge at you when angry and hurt you pretty badly. Wild Hogs have been known to attack people and their tusks can rip you to shreds. An advantage is strength the downside would be temper and eye sight.
Cervine: The Deer: They have an amazing speed that out does the feline (cheetah excluded) and canine. Their grace is unpralleled, and hearing is like that of a cats. Often these people are very cautious, and often leap then look. The up side to this would be speed, and they have a inner scent that can help them know right before danger hits. The disadvantage would be the ‘Flight or Fight’ reaction. Their reaction is flight and are very untrusting. They will freeze at the slightest noise then bolt rather than find out. ‘Deer in the Headlight look’ is what you'll often find.
Reptus: Komodo dragon, gecko, agama, snake. etc They could have one or two of the following: Second eyelid (almost all will have this), venom for temporary blindness, or deadly venom. Lizards or snakes have very fast reactions, and/or lightning fast movements. They have strength but poor in comparison to the other ferals. Very solitary and most will avoid confrontation unless necessary. Komodo dragons however given their strength will most likely fight. (strongest reptile besides the crocodiles and aligators) The advantage would be the ability to defend your self with speed or venom. The disadvantage would be that you would crave heat being you will be cold blooded and often have to use the sun or turn the heat up high to keep your self comfortable.
Amphibian: Frog, or toad, newt, slamander: While info about them is mostly unknown, we do know they have very strong legs and can jump the highest of all ferals, and some might have a second eyelid that would allow them to see under water. They can hold their breath for a long time.
Piscis: Fish or shark. Rarest of all Ferals. The Piscis ferals have under water eye sight; some, though rare, may breath under water or hold breath for a very long time and are fast swimmers. The advantage would be swimming, see under water and harder to drown. The disadvantage would be the strong urge to be in the water, but you'll be alone there. Thought to be solitary.
